This week’s Paper Smooches SPARKS challenge is an Anything Goes challenge. I used PS’s Stars dies and the Beboppin stamp set for this simple musical themed design.
I crafted an old-school style vinyl record from a pair of circle die cuts. It’s hard to see in the photo, but I tried to make grooves in the record by using different sized circle dies and an embossing tool. You can see the lines pretty well IRL, just not in my poor photo! After attaching it to a white card base, I topped the album with a bunch of different sized silver stars, adhered with foam tape. The “hope your day rocks” sentiment was stamped at the bottom of the cardfront in bold red ink.
Don’t miss what the rest of the SPARKS team has created this week. Here’s where to find them:
Beboppin stamp set and Stars dies (Paper Smooches); Memento Luxe Love Letter ink (Tsukineko); Basic Black and Real Red cardstock (Papertrey Ink); silver paper (Target); circle dies (Spellbinders); foam tape
