Wishing You Sunshine and Rainbows

***Scroll down to the post below or click HERE to see my card for this week's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge. ***

This week’s Paper Smooches SPARKS challenge is a Picture Perfect challenge. I was inspired by the rainbow array of colors in the photo and used the Spectrum stamp set and coordinating Spectrum Icons dies for my card.

Sunshine and Rainbows card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Paper Smooches
I stamped the sun and rainbow images on white cardstock and cut them out with the matching dies. After coloring the rainbow with Copic markers and adding a piece of patterned paper to the center of the circle, I adhered the images to a white panel. The “wishing you sunshine and rainbows” sentiment was stamped next to the images in black ink.

I edged the panel with some blue cardstock strips, then adhered it to a light blue card base. A card with sunshine and rainbows needs a little sparkle (right??), so I added a trio of super sparkly silver sequins around the images to finish the card.

Don’t miss what the rest of the SPARKS team has created using the photo as inspiration. Here’s where to find them:
