This week's Paper Smooches SPARKS challenge is a Picture Perfect challenge based on the photo above. I took my inspiration for this card from the woodgrain background and the feminine floral monogram.
I started off with a piece of woodgrain patterned paper. I die cut the word "hello" from dark brown cardstock using the Hello Words dies and adhered the die cut word to the patterned paper panel. To bring in the floral element, I die cut a bunch of flowers using the floral dies in the Pocket die set. After playing with a few different arrangements, I settled on the small floral cluster you see here. To add interest to the flowers, I dotted the small ones with clear crystals and the large one with an enamel dot. I wrapped the finished panel with a piece of pink satin ribbon, then matted it on brown cardstock and adhered it to a cream card base.
Don’t miss what the rest of the SPARKS team has created this week. Here’s where to find them: Katie
