Thinking Pink
Here's my card for this week's Viva la Verve sketch and inspiration challenge. This clean and simple design also serves as my entry for this month's Pink Power themed Verve Diva Dare.
I stamped three different sized flower images from Verve's Poppy Birthday set on a white cardstock panel in black ink, then stamped over the outlines in pink pigment ink. The "I'm thinking of you" sentiment from the Take Note set was stamped on a double ended banner strip. I bent back the ends to give the strip some dimension, then used foam tape to adhere the banner to the panel. The finished panel was matted on a pale gray panel, then adhered to a pink card base.
Materials Used:
Poppy Birthday and Take Note stamp sets (Verve Stamps); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko); Pixie ink (Avery Elle); Grout Gray cardstock (My Favorite Things); Blushing Bride cardstock (Stampin' Up!); double-ended banner die (Papertrey Ink); foam tape
