Paper Smooches SPARKS-I Miss You

*** Scroll down to the post below or click HERE to see my card for this week's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge! ***

This week's Paper Smooches SPARKS challenge theme is anything goes.  I've been working on cards for Operation Write Home over the past week or two and this is another one that will be going in my next OWH package.

I Miss You card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Paper Smooches
I made a simple scene using the Backdrop Builders dies and the Promenade stamp set.  After using distress inks and a little reverse masking to get the sun and sky background on a white card base, I added the die cut tree, clouds, and grass on top.  The bench from the Promenade set was paper pieced using scraps of red and brown cardstock, then added to the scene.  I stamped the "I miss you" sentiment from the Word Salad set at the bottom of the scene in black ink.

Don’t miss what the rest of the SPARKS team has created this week. Here’s where to find them:

Lori--you're here!
Materials Used:
Promenade and Word Salad stamp sets, Backdrop Builders dies (Paper Smooches); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (IMAGINE Crafts/Tsukineko); Scattered Straw and Tumbled Glass distress inks (Ranger); Old Olive, Real Red, and Soft Suede cardstock (Stampin' Up!); circle punch (EK Success); foam tape
