The beautiful flowers from the Lovely Thoughts set were perfect for a Mother's Day design. Here, I watercolored a piece of watercolor paper in shades of pink. After the paint dried, I stamped the flowers on the paper in gray pigment ink, then heat embossed them and cut them out. I used the same technique for the leaves.
I arranged the flowers and leaves on a pale pink cardstock panel over a white paper doily and a strip of satin ribbon. Once they were in place, I tucked the end of a crystal flourish underneath the flowers and stamped the "love you" sentiment above them. The finished panel was set on a pale gray card base.
