The Challenge is back again with a new challenge!  Next up in our challenge rotation is a sketch challenge--one of my favorite kinds of challenges!

Thanks Teacher card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Paper Smooches
Today marks the start of Teacher Appreciation Week and since I'm a teacher, I thought I'd celebrate the week by sharing a bunch of different teacher themed cards on my blog, starting with this sketch. I used the Paper Smooches School Icons die set to create a pencil and a piece of gray cardstock embossed with a sentiment from the Smarty Pants set to make a chalkboard style panel.

These pieces were arranged on a golden yellow card base along with a piece of letter patterned paper and a piece of primary lined handwriting patterned paper.  A pair of handcut fishtail flag strips at the top of the card completed the design.  I tried to add a few enamel dots, but I couldn't get the placement right, so I ended up leaving them off.  I may go back and play around with adding them again . . .  I'm also going to link this up to the current Paper Smooches SPARKS Anything Goes challenge.

Don't miss what the rest of The Challenge team and our talented lineup of guests has created for this week's sketch challenge. Here's where to find them:

Sandie Munro, featured designer
Jinny Newlin, guest designer
Jen Wills, guest designer
