The Challenge 37-You Add Color to My Life

The Challenge is back again with a new challenge!  This week we've got a sketch challenge for you to try out.

You Add Color to My Life card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from My Favorite Things
I kept things simple on my design.  I used gray on gray for the card's background, then stamped the "you add color to my life" sentiment from the My Favorite Things Stay Tuned set in gray pigment ink on a pierced oval die cut.  I used three different width fishtail flag dies to cut a rainbow array of strips. The strips were arranged along the bottom of the sentiment panel.  I adhered the sentiment panel to the cardfront, then accented it with a trio of black enamel dots.

Don't miss what the rest of The Challenge team and our talented guest designers have created for this week's color challenge. Here's where to find them:

Nance Salkeld
Karolyn Loncon, June featured designer
Joyce Mehrberg, guest designer

Materials Used:
Stay Tuned stamp set, Grout Gray and Steel Grey cardstock, Die-namics Pierced Oval Stax, Fishtail Flag Layers Stax, and Fishtail Flag Stax dies (My Favorite Things); Memento Luxe Gray Flannel ink (IMAGINE Crafts/Tsukineko); Real Red, Yoyo Yellow, Only Orange, Green Galore, Pacific Point, and Lovely Lilac cardstock (Stampin' Up!); black enamel dots (Michaels)
