The Challenge 38-Woof You
The Challenge is back again with a new challenge! This week we've got a color challenge for you to try out--coral, navy, and kraft.
I used Avery Elle's Furry Friends stamp set and coordinating dies to put together this sweet card using the challenge colors. I stamped one of the set's dog images on kraft cardstock, then shaded it a bit with Copic markers before cutting it out with the matching die. I adhered it to a cream panel using foam tape. I did a little creative masking of the set's "you're" sentiment to stamp the "woof you" sentiment next to the dog in navy pigment ink. To go with the sentiment, I added a coral heart, die cut with a die from the Icon Fill in the Blank dies.
After matting the image on coral cardstock, I adhered it to a coral striped patterned paper panel. I tucked a navy half circle underneath the left edge of the image panel. It was accented with a pair of copper brads. The finished panel was adhered to a kraft card base.
Don't miss what the rest of The Challenge team and our talented guest designers have created for this week's color challenge. Here's where to find them:
Materials Used:
Furry Friends stamp set, Furry Friends and Icon Fill in the Blank dies (Avery Elle); Memento Luxe Nautical Blue and Memento Tuxedo Black inks (IMAGINE Crafts/Tsukineko); markers (Copic); Cameo Coral and Night of Navy cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Kraft cardstock (WPlus9); Collecting Moments 6x6 paper pad (Fancy Pants Designs); Die-namics Pierced Circle Stax dies (My Favorite Things); copper brads (Making Memories); foam tape
