SugarPea Designs September Sweet Peek Week-Day 3

*** Scroll down to the post below or click HERE to see my card for this week's Color Throwdown! ***

Eek-a-Boo card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from SugarPea Designs

September's SugarPea Designs Sweet Peek Week continues with a first look at the Eek-a Boo stamp  set and SugarCuts Scattered Stars Journal Card die. These two pair up perfectly for fun Halloween cards!

I started off by making a stencil from acetate using the Scattered Stars Journal Card.  I used the stencil to apply some modeling paste to a piece of watercolor paper.  After the stenciled stars dried, I watercolored over them to make my background panel.

I colored the ghost image with Copic markers, then cut it out and adhered it to the starry panel using foam tape.  To fill in the panel a bit, I stamped one of the set's spiderweb images in the upper right corner of the panel.  The "eek-a-boo!" sentiment was stamped on a green strip die cut with the banner strip from the SugarCuts Gift Tag die set.  I matted the panel on green cardstock, then set it on a purple dotted panel over a silver Zig Zag Stitched Circle die cut.
