Here's my take on the inspiration photo. My simple layout is loosely based on the current sketch at Can You Case It. I colored up the unicorn from Reverse Confetti's Unicorn Wishes set using my Copic markers, then cut the colored image out with the matching die. To make the magical creature even more magical, I used a clear Spectrum Noir Sparkle pen to add a subtle coating of glitter to the unicorn's mane, tail, and horn.
My background for the unicorn is a piece of pink dotted paper with a die cut vellum cloud strip. I added a narrow band of ribbon at the bottom of the vellum to hide the adhesive I used to keep it in place. The unicorn was added on top with foam tape. I stamped the "magical birthday wishes" sentiment directly on the vellum in Versafine Onyx Black ink, then added a trio of iridescent white sequins around the unicorn. The sinished panel was adhered to a coordinating pink card base.
