Happy Monday! It's time for a new Mojo Monday sketch. I used this week's sketch to create a love themed design in a primary color scheme.
The heart patterned paper was the starting point for my design. It's been in my stash forever and it's about time I used it! It's hard to see in the photo, but the hearts are outlined with a blue scallop, so that's where the blue in my card's color scheme comes in. I placed the heart pattered panel on a piece of light blue cardstock, then added a strip of red cardstock, edged with a narrow piece of turquoise cardstock, to the left side. For texture, I wrapped a piece of red grosgrain ribbon around the panel. The "all of my smiles begin with you" sentiment from Verve's Better Together set was stamped in blue ink on a white pierced circle die cut. After matting the panel on a pale blue circle, I added it over the patterned panel. I accented the text with a pair of blue hearts cut with Verve's Heart Quartet die.

Materials Used:
Better Together stamp set, Heart Quartet dies (Verve Stamps); Sprinkles ink (Taylored Expressions); Real Red cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Hawaiian Shores cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Sno Cone cardstock, Die-namics Pierced Circle STAX dies (My Favorite Things); Love Me Do "Rock and Roll Heart" designer paper (My Mind's Eye); circle dies (Spellbinders); red grosgrain ribbon (Michaels); foam tape
What a cute card, Lori! I love the freshness that the pops of blue give!
