Happy Monday! It's time for a new Mojo Monday sketch. I used the layout to create a fun birthday card.
I started out with a piece of number patterned paper--perfect for a birthday card, right? I picked three coordinating colors to go with the patterned paper and used those to make the background. A little twine wrapped around the lime green panel added some texture to the solid papers. After placing the number panel on the background on an angle, I added the sentiment panel on top. The "happy birthday" is from Verve's Small Packages stamp set. I used navy pigment ink to stamp it on a cream pierced square panel. I placed a blue circle at the right side of the sentiment panel and added a silver star on top, using foam tape for dimension. A few blue enamel dots arranged around the sentiment and star completed the design.
