Celebrate Your Special Day card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Lil' Inker DesignsI took my inspiration from the multiple patterns in the photo and created a patchwork like pattern on my cardfront using shades of blue and yellow.  The panels on the cardfront were created with the help of the new Color Blocking die from Lil' Inker Designs.  It makes creating cards like these so easy!  My panels were all created from scraps--I love when I can use up bits and pieces on a project.  I arranged the cut panels on a coordinating turquoise card base.

For the sentiment, I die cut the Celebrate Word die from turquoise cardstock and from craft foam.  After layering the die cut pieces, I adhered them to the cardfront.  The "your special day" sentiment from the Sweet Celebration stamp set was stamped just beneath the die cut word in coordinating blue ink.
