The Challenge is back with a new papercrafting challenge to inspire you! This week we're featuring a keyword challenge. Pick one word from the list to use as inspiration or use as many as you want. I think I managed to hit each and every one of the key words in my card!
I used a monochromatic pink color scheme along with a butterfly image from the Paper Smooches Flap Happy stamp set. The butterfly image was stamped using the "rock 'n roll" technique to get the two-toned look. After stamping the image using the two shades of pink ink, I cut out the image using the matching die from the Butterflies 2 set. I added a body using three pink pearls.
For the background, I placed a pair of layered pink circles on a pale pink cardstock panel. I used one of the PS Stitches dies to cut a flight trail into the panel, including on to the circles. Once the trail was cut, I added the butterfly to the circle using foam tape for dimension. The set's script "hello" sentiment was stamped above the stitched trail in dark pink ink, then the printed "friend" from the Swanky Snowdudes set was stamped beneath it. The finished panel was adhered to a dark pink card base.
Check out what the rest of the talented team at The Challenge has created based this week's keyword challenge. Here's where to find them:
