Color Throwdown 455-You're Awesome

It's time for another Color Throwdown!  Jodi is our hostess this week with a sweet treat inspired pastel color combination--aqua, pale pink, lavender, and white.

I thought the colors would be perfect for a unicorn themed design!  I created a fun watercolored background using several distress oxides on watercolor paper.  While the panel dried, I stamped the unicorn from the Paper Smooches Spectrum stamp set on shimmery white cardstock, then added a bit of color to the image using Copic markers.  After stamping a pair of clouds on the same shimmery white cardstock, I used the matching dies to cut out all of the pieces.  I assembled them on the watercolored panel using foam tape for dimension.  The set's "you're awesome" sentiment was stamped to the left of the unicorn in black ink.  A few silver glitter enamel dots scattered around the unicorn added a final magical element to the design .  The finished panel was adhered to a pale pink card base.  In addition to this week's Color Throwdown challenge, I'm also entering this card into the current Paper Smooches "anything goes" themed challenge.
