It Takes a Big Heart
One of my friends was recently appointed as principal at an elementary school in the district where we work. It's her first principal position, so it's a lot to celebrate. I put together this encouraging teacher themed card to send to her based on this month's Reverse Confetti Sketch for You to Try.
My focal image is one of the apples from RC's All Apples set. I stamped the apple, leaves, and stem in pigment inks, then used the matching dies to cut out the stamped images. After assembling the apple, I used foam tape to adhere it to a green gingham patterned paper panel with a coordinating green cardstock strip. The gingham panel was adhered to a kraft card base. I accented the image with a trio of white matte enamel dots running down the left side of the card base.
Materials Used:
All Apples stamp set, All Apples dies (Reverse Confetti); Memento Luxe Love Letter, Pear Tart, and Rich Cocoa inks (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Simply Chartreuse and Kraft cardstock, Simply Chartreuse patterned paper (Papertrey Ink); white matte enamel dots (Eyelet Outlet); foam tape
