Gear Up
The current Lawn Fawnatics challenge is to make a kid-friendly card. Lawn Fawn's adorable Beep Boop bot set was perfect for the task! I colored up one of the robots using Copic markers in shades of gray for a metallic look. The image was cut out with the matching die, then adhered to a pale gray cardstock panel using foam tape. I added a gift to the robot's hand, then positioned the speech bubbles with "beep" and "boop" above the image for a pop of color. The set's "gear up for a happy birthday" sentiment was stamped to the right of the image in black ink. I wrapped strips of silver and red grid washi tape strips around the panel beneath the robot, then topped them with a narrow strip of red cardstock. The finished panel was adhered to a gray card base.
