Hooray card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Mama Elephant
Here's my card for the current challenge at The Paper Players.  I used the sketch to create a fun space themed birthday design featuring the sweet Space Bears set from Mama Elephant.  I started my design by making a space-like background using a trio of distress oxides on watercolor paper.  While the panel dried, I stamped, colored, and cut out my bear image.  The moon was created from a shimmery white circle debossed with a polka dot pattern to look like craters.  I stamped the set's birthday sentiment on the white piece, using my MISTI to ensure that I got full coverage on my embossed piece, then adhered it to the panel and trimmed the edges to be flush with the panel's edges.  The bear was positioned on top using foam tape for dimension.  A few silver glitter enamel dot "stars" completed the scene. The finished panel was adhered to a deep purple card base.

Materials Used:
Space Bears stamp set, Space Bears dies (Mama Elephant); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); markers (Copic); Faded Jeans, Wilted Violet, and Broken China distress oxides (Ranger); Royal Purple cardstock (Reverse Confetti); Shimmery White cardstock (Stampin' Up!); circle dies (Spellbinders); Polka Dots embossing folder (Lifestyle Crafts); silver glitter enamel dots (Eyelet Outlet); foam tape
