It's time for another Color Throwdown! Barbara is our hostess this week with a pretty color combination--pink, kraft, and gray. I combined the colors with the current challenge at CAS(e) this Sketch for this soft, feminine design.
I built my design on a pale pink cardstock panel. The large solid "hello" from the Hello Hello stamp set from The Stamp Market was stamped on the panel in gray pigment ink. I used my MISTI so I could double stamp the image for a nice, solid look. I cut the word "friend" from kraft cardstock and craft foam using the coordinating Scripty Hello dies. After layering the two pieces (and managing to keep track of the teeny, tiny dot for the "i"), I adhered them to the panel, overlapping the "hello" just a tiny bit. I accented the die cut word with a trio of pink sequins. The finished panel was adhered to a cream card base. The cream looks so pretty with these soft, muted colors!To play along, just create a paper crafted project using these colors as a starting point and add a direct link to your finished project using the linky tool found at the end of this week's CTD post. As always, if you don’t have exact color matches, something close works just fine. Just be sure that the challenge colors are the dominant ones in your project.
