Sprinkled with Lots of Fun

Sprinkled with Lots of Fun card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Reverse Confetti
One of my colleagues is celebrating a birthday today, so I used the current sketch at Freshly Made Sketches to put together a card to mark the occasion.  I used a donut die cut with pieces from Reverse Confetti's Donut You Know die set to represent the large shape on the layout.  The kraft "donut" was inked around the edges with some distress ink and the sprinkles were stamped in white and heat embossed.  I used foam tape to adhere the donut to a pink card base with an angled piece of festive dotted paper along the bottom.  The dots remind me of confetti, which is perfect for a birthday!  The birthday sentiment from the coordinating Donut You Know stamp set was stamped in white ink at the top of the cardfront, then heat embossed in white to stand out against the pale background.

Materials Used:
Donut You Know stamp set, Donut You Know dies (Reverse Confetti); Memento Luxe Wedding Dress ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Antique Linen distress ink (Ranger); Sweet Blush, Raspberry Fizz, and Kraft cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Birthday Wishes 6x6 paper pad (Echo Park); Recollections Snow embossing powder (Michaels); foam tape

  1. Super sweet card! The white embossed sentiment on the pink background is so pretty and that donut is fabulous. Thanks so much for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches.
