Best Witches

Best Witches card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Reverse Confetti
The theme for this month's Reverse Confetti Stock Your Stash challenge is Halloween.  Halloween cards are so much fun to make, even if I really don't need to send too many of them!  This one uses the adorable witch image from RC's Best Witches stamp set.  I colored her up with Copic markers, then used the matching die to cut out the colored image.  I made a simple scene to set her in from navy cardstock with torn strips of green cardstock "grass" across the bottom.  The witch image was added on top using foam tape for dimension.  To fill in the scene, I used a circle punch to make a yellow crescent shaped moon.  I positioned it at the top of the cardfront, then arranged a trio of silver glitter enamel dots around it as stars.  The "best witches" sentiment was stamped on a narrow orange cardstock strip and adhered to the card so that it extends out from underneath the raised moon.

Materials Used:
Best Witches stamp set, Navy cardstock, Best Witches dies (Reverse Confetti); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); markers (Copic); Garden Green and Yoyo Yellow cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Orange Zest cardstock (Papertrey Ink); circle punch (EK Success); silver glitter enamel dots (Eyelet Outlet); foam tape
