Color Throwdown 511-Celebrating You

It's time for another Color Throwdown!  Amy Rysavy is our hostess this week with a floral inspired color combination--pink,  peach, berry red, and leaf green.

Celebrating You card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Mama Elephant
I colored up one of the sweet images from Mama Elephant's You're So Lovely stamp set using Copic markers, then cut out the colored image using my Scan 'n Cut machine.  It's hard to see, but I got all of the challenge colors in on the image from peachy skin to a teeny bit of green in the bunch of flowers!  I adhered a strip of pink dotted patterned paper across a plain white card base.  After adding a narrow strip of contrasting red cardstock across the top of the dotted paper, I positioned the colored image on top, using foam tape for dimension. The set's "celebrating you" sentiment was stamped just to the left of the image in black ink.

To play along, just create a paper crafted project using these colors as a starting point and add a direct link to your finished project using the linky tool found at the end of this week's CTD post.  As always, if you don’t have exact color matches, something close works just fine.  Just be sure that the challenge colors are the dominant ones in your project.  And, if you upload your project to an online gallery, use the keyword CTD511.  If you upload your projects on social media, go ahead and use the hashtag #ctd511 and #colorthrowdown.  You can find us on Instagram (and on Facebook!) with the username colorthrowdown.  Before you get started, here’s some inspiration from the talented Color Throwdown team, September's Guest Designer, Amy Kolling, and this week's Guest Star Stamper, Emily Henry.
