It's Your Day

Here's my card for the current sketch at Freshly Made Sketches.  The layout's large panel was perfect for the big balloons from Concord & 9th's Happy Balloons stamp set.  I stamped two of the balloons in aqua and lime inks, then cut them out with the coordinating dies.  After adding strings to the images, I used foam tape to adhere them to a lighter aqua panel.

I adhered the panel to a green card base, then added a narrow lime green strip that matches one of the balloons on top.  The "it's your day" sentiment from the Birthday Stacks set was stamped beneath the balloon duo in aqua ink to finish the design.
