Bold Birthday
You can never have too many birthday cards in your stash, right? This one is based on the current sketch at Freshly Made Sketches. It came together quickly with dies from Lil' Inker Designs. I cut up a bunch of stitched stars from gold cardstock and arranged them randomly on the right side of an orange card base. A panel of plaid patterned paper was adhered to the left side of the panel. After cutting the "happy birthday" sentiment from contrasting red cardstock, I adhered it to the cardfront, covering the edge of the patterned paper and making a nice transition to the star-filled section.
Materials Used:
Happy Birthday Border and Stitched Stars dies (Lil' Inker Designs); Poppy Parade cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Orange Fizz cardstock (My Favorite Things); gold paper (Target); Perfectly Plaid-Fall 6x6 paper pad (Lawn Fawn)
