Celebrate the Season
Here's my card for the current challenge at Global Design Project. I used the sketch for a holiday card in cool shades of aqua and silver.
I die cut a trio of silver snowflakes using a die from Reverse Confetti's Let It Snow die set. The flakes were adhered to a white panel using foam tape for dimension. Each flake has a pretty gunmetal gray/silver crystal at the center for even more sparkle and shine. I edged the panel with narrow strips of silver cardstock, then adhered it to the aqua card base over a plaid panel matted on gray cardstock. The "celebrate the season" sentiment from the Cool Friends set was stamped on a narrow strip of aqua cardstock and edged with more silver cardstock before it was adhered to the bottom of the panel with the trio of flakes.
Materials Used:
Cool Friends stamp set, Iced Aqua cardstock, Let It Snow dies (Reverse Confetti); Silver cardstock (Recollections); Perfectly Plaid-Winter 6x6 paper pad (Lawn Fawn); self-adhesive crystals (Darice); foam tape
