Halloween Best Witches

Halloween Best Witches card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Lil' Inker Designs
There's still time to squeeze in a few more Halloween themed cards before the end of the month, like this one inspired by the current sketch at Freshly Made Sketches.  I turned the layout's two panels into Halloween icons--a glowing full moon and a witch on a broom. The moon was made from a circle die cut from shimmery white paper and debossed with a dotted panel.  The witch is from the Lil' Inker Designs Bats and Broomsticks stamp set. I stamped the image on the same color cardstock as I used for the cardfront so that it would blend nicely into the background.  The images were arranged on the pale blue-purple background, using foam tape for the witch to give the image dimension.  I stamped the "happy Halloween" sentiment from a longer sentiment stamp from the Zombie Kids set to the left of the witch, then added a trio of silver sequin "stars" to finish the design.

Materials Used:
Bats and Broomsticks and Zombie Kids stamp sets, Bats and Broomsticks dies (Lil' Inker Designs); Versafine Clair Nocturne ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Almost Amethyst cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Crystal Stardream cardstock (The Paper Cut); circle dies (Spellbinders); Polka Dots embossing folder (Lifestyle Crafts); silver sequins; foam tape
