Color Throwdown 519-Holiday Cheer

It's time for another Color Throwdown! Vickie is our hostess this week with one of my favorite wintery color combinations--red, aqua, and silver.

I paired the colors with the current sketch at CAS(e) this Sketch.  For the focal image, I stamped  my favorite snowman from the Paper Smooches Swanky Snowdudes set on shimmery white cardstock for a snow-like look then colored the image with Copic markers.  He was a perfect fit for the stitched oval window I cut in an aqua cardstock panel.  I used foam tape to adhere the aqua panel to a red card base, positioning a piece of silver cardstock behind the oval opening, then adding the snowman image on top.  The "holiday cheer" sentiment from the Christmas Sampler set was stamped on a red fishtail flag strip and set over the bottom of the snowman image to finish the card.
