Color Throwdown 521-Enjoy the Beauty of the Season

It's time for another Color Throwdown!  Amy Rysavy is our hostess this week with an elegant color combination--silver, black, gray, and white.  I paired the colors with the current sketch at CAS(e) this Sketch for this simple holiday design.

This card came together in no time at all.  I found black and gray cardstock strips in my scrap pile and adhered them to the right side of a white card base.  It's hard to see in the photo, but the strips are different colors--the one on the left is gray and the one all the way on the right is black. I used a stitched snowflake die from Lil' Inker Designs to cut a snowflake from silver cardstock.  After dotting the center of the flake with a pretty gray crystal, it was adhered to the card with foam tape.  I stamped the "enjoy the beauty of the season" sentiment from LID's Winter Greetings stamp set to the left of the snowflake in black ink to finish the design.
