Swanky Snowdudes Season's Greetings

Here's my card for the current sketch at Freshly Made Sketches.  I used an image I colored as part of this month's Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge to put this one together.

Season's Greetings card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Paper Smooches
I had stamped and colored several snowmen from the Paper Smooches Swanky Snowdudes stamp set on a piece of shimmery white paper and knew the tall one would be perfect for the layout.  After cutting it out with the matching die, I used foam tape to position the snowman image  on a piece of snowflake patterned paper.  The patterned paper was matted on contrasting red cardstock, then adhered to the pale blue card base over a narrow strip of silver cardstock.  I stamped the set's "season's greetings" sentiment on a strip of red cardstock and used more foam tape to attach it to the card, overlapping the bottom of the snowman image.  A trio of silver sequins surrounding the snowman completed the design.

Materials Used:
Swanky Snowdudes stamp set, Snowdudes dies (Paper Smooches); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); markers (Copic); Real Red, Soft Sky, and Shimmery White cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Silver cardstock (Recollections); Crystal Frost 6x6 paper pad (CraftSmith); silver sequins; foam tape
