When in Doubt
I was so excited to see Julee bring back her Mojo Monday sketches! I've really missed playing along. Here's my coffee themed take on Sketch 501.
I interpreted the layout's large circle as a coffee mug. Mine is cut from red cardstock using the Coffee Talk 2 dies from Lil' Inker Designs. I used foam tape to adhere the mug to a cream panel that I brushed with some Tea Dye distress ink. For the sentiment, I stamped the "when in doubt, drink more coffee" sentiment from LID's coordinating Coffee Cozy stamp set in brown ink on a cream circle. I matted the text on a red circle, then adhered it to the opposite corner of the panel using more foam tape. I dug a red and cream plaid panel out of my scrap pile to use to cover most of the red card base. After placing the plaid panel on the card base, I topped it with a wide brown strip, then added the cream panel with the mug and sentiment on top.
Materials Used:
Coffee Cozy stamp set, Coffee Talk 2 dies (Lil' Inker Designs); Memento Rich Cocoa ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Tea Dye distress ink (Ranger); Close to Cocoa and Riding Hood Red cardstock (Stampin' Up!); circle dies (Spellbinders); foam tape

I like how you think.... large circle = coffee mug! :) Beautiful card, Lori. So glad you could play along with the sketch!
