You're the Avocado to My Toast

Here's my card for the current sketch at Freshly Made Sketches.  I just loved the toaster and punny sentiments in Lawn Fawn's new Let's Toast stamp set, so I added it to my collection.  This is my first card made with the set.  Instead of coloring it, I stamped the toaster image on silver cardstock for a metallic look, then cut out the image with the matching die.  I used foam tape to adhere the image over a pair of coordinating patterned paper strips from my scrap pile that I arranged on an avocado green card base.  I stamped and colored the toast and avocado images.  After cutting them out with the coordinating dies, I tucked the toast inside the toaster and used more foam tape to place the avocado in front of the toaster. The "you're the avocado to my toast" sentiment was stamped on narrow strips of kraft cardstock and adhered to one of the patterned panels.
