After the break for the holidays, it's time for the January installment of Keeping Christmas with The Challenge design team! My holiday design features Julee's current Mojo Monday sketch along with a sweet little snowman from Hello Bluebird.
My card uses a cool color scheme rather than a traditional holiday one. The colors were inspired by the chevron patterned paper from an Echo Park paper pad. I picked the panels for the rest of the card based on the fun pattern. Once the pieces were in place, I colored up the snowman from the Frosty Friends set with Copic markers. After cutting out the colored image with my Scan 'n Cut machine, I added a bit of white flock to the hat as an accent, then adhered the image to the round panel with foam tape for dimension. The "jingle all the way" sentiment from the Typed Christmas stamp set was curved on my clear block to match (sort of...) the shape of the circle, then stamped on the panel in plum ink.
Don't miss what the rest of our team has created to inspire you to get a head start on your holiday card making! There is a lot of inspiration and ideas to get your creative juices flowing. Here's where to find the team members:
