It's Your Day to Celebrate
Here's my card for the current Paper Craft Crew challenge. I used the layout for a gender neutral birthday card.
My focal panel features the "it's your day to celebrate" sentiment from Reverse Confetti's Simply Sentiments stamp set. The text is stamped in green ink on a white pierced square panel that was layered on to a larger yellow pierced square. I adhered the squares to a green card base with a wide strip of diagonally striped patterned paper across it. To fill in the white space on the sentiment panel, I placed a long fishtail flag strip over the layered squares and anchored them with a silver stitched star die cut. A trio of silver glitter enamel dots arranged around the squares completed the design.
Materials Used:
Simply Sentiments stamp set, Lime Green ink, Lime Green cardstock, Seeing Stars dies (Reverse Confetti); Lemon Drop cardstock, Pierced Square STAX and Fishtail Flag STAX dies (My Favorite Things); Silver cardstock (Recollections); Party Boy 6x6 paper pad (Photo Play); silver glitter enamel dots (Eyelet Outlet); foam tape
