Color Throwdown 535-Thanks So Berry Much
It's time for another Color Throwdown! Jodi is our hostess this week with a mix of colors from a fun and fabulous kitchen--red, yellow, soft green, and white.
I paired the colors with the current Mojo Monday sketch for this berry-themed thank you design. It also doubles as my entry for the current Reverse Confetti spring-themed Stock Your Stash challenge. I used red and green cardstock with RC's Berry Sweet stamps and dies to create my yummy looking berry. After adhering it to a white circle with foam tape, I positioned the image panel on a pretty soft green Lacy Scallop Circle die cut to frame it. For the background, I used a lemony yellow cardstock panel with a contrasting wide red panel across it and, in a nod to the gingham in the color inspiration photo, a smaller green gingham panel. The image panel was adhered to the yellow panel. Once it was in place, I used black ink to stamp the "thanks so berry much" sentiment on the gingham paper. The finished panel was adhered to a soft green card base.
To play along, just create a paper crafted project using these colors as a starting point and add a direct link to your finished project using the linky tool found at the end of this week's CTD post. As always, if you don’t have exact color matches, something close works just fine. Just be sure that the challenge colors are the dominant ones in your project. And, if you upload your project to an online gallery, use the keyword CTD535. If you upload your projects on social media, go ahead and use the hashtag #ctd535 and #colorthrowdown. You can find us on Instagram and on Facebook with the username colorthrowdown. Before you get started, here’s some inspiration from the talented Color Throwdown team, March's Guest Designer, Kelly Schirmer, and this week's Guest Star Stamper, Stef Perry.
