Minty Warm Winter Wishes

Warm Winter Wishes card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Reverse Confetti
Here's my take on the current Fusion challenge.   I paired the sketch with elements from the inspiration photo, including the minty color scheme, the knit texture, and the silvery sparkle.  The result was this wintery feeling design.  I built the card on a card base embossed with a knit textured pattern.  The "warm winter wishes" sentiment from Reverse Confetti's Bring on the Merry stamp set was stamped in blue-green ink on a white panel.  After matting the panel on silver cardstock, I adhered it to the top of the embossed cardfront.  To go with the text, I die cut a pair of mittens using RC's Smitten Mitten dies.  I connected them with some coordinating baker's twine, then arranged them on the card base using foam tape for dimension.  The mittens were accented with a trio of silver glitter enamel dots for a final sparkly touch.

Materials Used:
Bring on the Merry stamp set, Smitten Mittens dies (Reverse Confetti); Cookie Monster ink (Taylored Expressions); Aqua Mist and Hawaiian Shores cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Silver cardstock (Recollections); Cable Knit embossing folder (Sunny Studio Stamps); silver glitter enamel dots (Eyelet Outlet); aqua twine (Target); foam tape
