With Deepest Sympathy

With Deepest Sympathy card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Papertrey Ink
Here's my card for the current Paper Craft Crew challenge.  I used the sketch to make a simple sympathy card with stamps and dies from Papertrey Ink.

The large leafy branch is from PTI's Turning a New Leaf set.  I stamped it in green pigment ink on a pale green card base, then added a pair of pink blooms from the Beautiful Blooms II and Everyday Classics set.  Each bloom was dotted with a tiny blush self-adhesive pearl to add some sparkle and dimension.  I adhered a darker green strip, edged along the top with a narrow kraft strip, to the bottom of the cardfront.  The "with deepest sympathy" sentiment, stamped in green on a pale pink double ended banner strip, was adhered over the top edge of the green panel using foam tape for dimension.  Though the sketch called for a few little decorative accents scattered around the cardfront, since this is a sympathy card, I decided to leave it simple and unadorned.

 Materials Used:
Turning a New Leaf, Beautiful Blooms II, and Everyday Classics stamp sets, Spring Moss, Simply Chartreuse, Sweet Blush, and Kraft cardstock, double ended banner die (Papertrey Ink); Celery pigment ink (Avery Elle); Memento Luxe Angel Pink ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); blush self-adhesive pearls (KaiserCraft); foam tape
