You're Spec-tacular

Here's my card for the current Fusion challenge.  I combined the sketch with elements from the inspiration photo, including the bold graphic stripes of the rug, the gold accents, and the eye chart style artwork, to create this fun design.

I used one of the dies from the Paper Smooches Glasses die set to create a funky pair of golden eyeglasses.  For dimension, I layered several die cut pieces before adhering them to the round white panel.  I stamped the "you're spec-tacular" sentiment from the Incognito stamp set on another larger white circle, curving the "spec-tacular" to match the shape of the circle.  The circles were matted on contrasting black cardstock, then adhered over a long gold fishtail flag strip extending down the center of a black and white chevron patterned paper.  The chevron panel was matted on gold cardstock, then adhered to a black card base to finish the design.
