Color Throwdown 538-You Are Amazing

It's time for another Color Throwdown!  Lynn is our challenge hostess this week with a pretty mix of colors--mint, aqua, dark pink, and green.

I paired the colors with the current sketch at CAS(e) this Sketch for a feminine design.  My focal image is a flower from the Paper Smooches Lovely Thoughts stamp set.  I stamped the image on vellum in white pigment ink and heat embossed it in white before coloring the image on the reverse side with Copic markers.  This results in a stained glass look--so pretty!  I did the same for the pair of green leaves.  I used a vellum-friendly adhesive to adhere the flower and leaves to a mint circle.  The circle was positioned on an aqua card base with an angled polka dotted panel along the bottom. The "you are amazing" sentiment from PS's Chit Chat set was curved on my clear block to match the shape of the round panel, then stamped above it in blue ink. I'm thinking this might make a nice Mother's Day card...
