I Pick You

I Pick You card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Lil' Inker DesignsHere's my card for the current Paper Craft Crew challenge.  The card's apple theme is just a little late for Teacher Appreciation Week, but the thought is there!

I replaced the layout's large round panel with the stitched apple I created using dies from Lil' Inker Designs.  To go with the apple, I adhered a piece of plaid patterned paper to the bottom of a kraft card base, then added the apple on top using foam tape for dimension.  I tucked a green stitched sentiment strip beneath the apple before adding the "I pick you" sentiment from LID's Apple of My Eye set on a stitched circle panel using more foam tape.  A pair of white matte enamel dots arranged to the right of the apple completed the design.

Materials Used:
Apple of My Eye stamps, Apple Shaker, Stitched Circle, and Stitched Sentiment Flag dies (Lil' Inker Designs); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Green Galore cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Kraft cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Red Punch cardstock (Recollections); Country Drive-Birds on a Wire designer paper (Echo Park); white matte enamel dots (Eyelet Outlet); foam tape
