Keeping Christmas-May 2019

It's time for the May installment of Keeping Christmas with The Challenge design team!  I used stamps and dies from SugarPea Designs along with the current Mojo Monday sketch for my holiday themed design.

Season's Greetings card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from SugarPea DesignsI turned the layout's round frame shape into a classic greenery wreath created with SPD's Funky Wreath-All Seasons stamps and coordinating dies.  The wreath was adhered to a red cardstock panel using foam tape.  To dress it up, I stamped and die cut a red bow, then placed it at the bottom of the wreath.  For the sentiment, I cut a long fishtail flag strip from kraft cardstock and stamped the "season's greetings" sentiment on the straight edge in red ink before tucking it beneath the raised wreath image.  A trio of green enamel dots arranged at the lower right side of the panel finished the festive design.

Don't miss what the rest of our team has created to inspire you to get a head start on your holiday card making!  There is a lot of inspiration and ideas to get your creative juices flowing.  Here's where to find the team members:

Materials Used:
Funky Wreaths-All Season and Funky Wreaths-Christmas stamp sets, Funky Wreaths-All Season dies (Sugar Pea Designs); Memento Love Letter and Bamboo Leaves inks (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Riding Hood Red cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Kraft cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Fishtail Flag STAX dies (My Favorite Things); green enamel dots (Eyelet Outlet); foam tape
