Papillon Hello
Here's my card for the current Fusion challenge. I combined the sketch with elements from the inspiration photo (woodgrain texture and butterflies) for my simple design.
I replaced the layout's round panel with a large butterfly stamped with The Stamp Market's Papillon stamp set. I used my MISTI to stamp the layered image before cutting it out with the matching die. To bring in the woodgrain element, I found a scrap of woodgrain cardstock to adhere across the top of the celery card base. I edged it with a bit of aqua cardstock to tie it in to the colors of the butterfly. For the sentiment, I die cut the word "hello" three times from aqua cardstock using a die from the Scripty Hello die set. After layering the die cuts for dimension, I adhered them to the left side of the woodgrain panel to finish the card.
Materials Used:
Papillon stamp set, Papillon and Scripty Hello dies (The Stamp Market); Memento Luxe Bahama Blue and Memento Tuxedo Black inks (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Aquamarine pigment ink (Avery Elle); Certainly Celery cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Hawaiian Shores cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Necessities-Wood 6x6 paper pad (My Mind's Eye); foam tape
