Baby Girl Congratulations

Baby Girl Congratulations card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from SugarPea Designs
One of my colleagues at work is expecting a baby girl, so I put together this sweet girly card for her.  The layout is from the current Mojo Monday sketch.  I replaced the layout's round panel with the adorable onesie image from the SugarPea Designs Welcome Baby stamp set.  The onesie was colored with Copic markers and cut out with the matching die from the Welcome Baby Accents die set.  I used foam tape to adhere the onesie to a pink cardstock panel. After stamping the "congratulations' sentiment beneath the image, I matted the panel on berry cardstock and adhered it to the top of a pink card base with a strip of pink plaid patterned paper along the bottom. The ribbon detailing at the top was a bit of a challenge.  I ended up wrapping a strip of pink satin ribbon around the top of the card base before placing the image panel on top.  I used my Bow Easy to make a small bow to place at the top of the image panel.  It wouldn't work if I were going to mail the card, but since it's being hand-delivered, it'll be just fine in this case.

Materials Used:
Welcome Baby stamp set, Welcome Baby Accents dies (SugarPea Designs); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukinenko/IMAGINE Crafts); markers (Copic); Pale Peony and Berry Sorbet cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Bundle of Joy New Additions 6x6 paper pad (Echo Park); pink satin ribbon (Target); Bow Easy; foam tape
