Sending Happiness Your Way

Sending Happiness Your Way card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Mama Elephant
Here's my card for the current sketch at Freshly Made Sketches.  I used one of the pair of fishtail flag strips to create a road for the cute little delivery van from Mama Elephant's Happy Mail stamp set.  The van was colored with Copic markers and cut out with the matching die.  After adhering the red and gray fishtail flag strips to the light blue cardstock panel, I added the van on top using foam tape for dimension.  The set's "sending happiness your way" sentiment was stamped on the red panel in Versafine ink--my favorite for sentiments.  After edging the panel with a narrow strip of contrasting navy cardstock, I adhered it to a card base with a wider strip of red dotted patterned paper along the left edge.  A trio of glossy red enamel dots adhered above the van image completed the design.

Materials Used:
Happy Mail stamp set, Happy Mail dies (Mama Elephant); Memento Tuxedo Black and Versafine Clair Nocturne inks (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); markers (Copic); Bashful Blue, Night of Navy, and Real Red cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Weathervane cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Happy Days 6x6 paper pad (Echo Park); Fishtail Flag STAX dies (My Favorite Things); red enamel hearts (Recollections); foam tape
