Bloom with Joy

Here's my card for the current Fusion challenge.  I paired the sentiments with the color scheme from the inspiration photo for this floral design.

Bloom with Joy card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Reverse ConfettiI stamped up a bunch of flowers using Reverse Confetti's Blooms 'n Buds stamp set and pink, red, yellow, and orange pigment inks.  After die cutting the stamped images, I arranged the flowers on an oval die cut, trying to position them to bring in the shape seen in the inspiration photo.  The "you make life bloom with joy" sentiment from the So Many Sentiments stamp set was stamped in black ink between the two floral clusters.  I matted the image panel on bright pink cardstock, then adhered the oval to a yellow card base over an orange cardstock strip edged with metallic gold cardstock.  A trio of pale pink enamel dots arranged around the flowers completed the design.

Materials Used:
Blooms 'n Buds and So Many Sentiments stamp sets, Blooms 'n Buds dies (Reverse Confetti); Memento Tuxedo Black, Memento Luxe Rhubarb Stalk, Morocco, Rose Bud, Dandelion, and Pistachio inks (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Craft); Crushed Curry cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Raspberry Fizz and Orange Zest cardstock (Papertrey Ink); gold paper (Target); oval dies (Spellbinders); pink matte enamel dots (Eyelet Outlet); foam tape
