Color Throwdown 552-One and Only

It's time for another Color Throwdown!  Barbara is our hostess this week with a pretty color combination--gray, pink, silver, and white.

One & Only card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from My Favorite ThingsThe layout for my card is from the current challenge at CAS(e) this Sketch.  My interpretation is pretty literal.  I adhered a pink pierced heart die cut to the top of a gray card base.  The heart was topped with an arrow that says "one and only."  For dimension, I cut the arrow from both silver cardstock and craft foam. The pieces were layered before I adhered them to the cardfront.  To finish the sentiment, I stamped "you are my" from the My Favorite Things Essential Sentiments stamp set just above the arrow in white pigment ink, then heat embossed the text in white so it would stand out.

To play along, just create a paper crafted project using these colors as a starting point and add a direct link to your finished project using the linky tool found at the end of this week's CTD post.  As always, if you don’t have exact color matches, something close works just fine.  Just be sure that the challenge colors are the dominant ones in your project.  And, if you upload your project to an online gallery, use the keyword CTD552.  If you upload your projects on social media, go ahead and use the hashtag #ctd552 and #colorthrowdown.  You can find us on Instagram and on Facebook with the username colorthrowdown.  Before you get started, here’s some inspiration from the talented Color Throwdown team, July's Guest Designer, Susie Moore, and this week's Guest Star Stamper, Nancy Storms.
