Sending Love

Here's my card for the current sketch at CAS(e) this Sketch.  I used patterned paper scraps to put this simple design together.

Sending Love card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Lil' Inker Designs
The two patterned strips, both featuring shades of red, were matted on red cardstock, then adhered to a pale pink card base.  I used envelope dies from Lil' Inker Designs to cut a small and large envelope from white cardstock.  I adhered the envelopes to the right side of the cardfront, using foam tape for dimension. For the sentiment, I die cut the word "sending" from both silver paper and craft foam.  After layering the pieces for dimension, I adhered the word to the cardfront in the space between the two patterned paper strips, overlapping the larger envelope.  To finish the sentiment, I stamped the word "love" on the small envelope in red ink.  A trio of enamel heart stickers arranged at the bottom of the small envelope completed the design.

Materials Used:
Sending You stamp set, Mini Envelopes and Accessories dies (Lil' Inker Designs); Memento Lady Bug ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Pink Pirouette cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Silver and Red Punch cardstock, enamel heart stickers (Recollections); Lovebirds 6x6 paper pad (Doodlebug Design); craft foam; foam tape
