Sky's the Limit

The theme for the current Lawn Fawnatics challenge is interactive cards.  I put this one together using Lawn Fawn's Plane and Simple stamp set.  The plane flies along the cardfront with the help of a slider disc set into a curved channel that runs across the card.

Sky's the Limit card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Lawn Fawn
The plane image was colored with Copic markers, then cut out with the matching die.  I used a channel die to cut the slider track in a piece of aqua dotted patterned paper, reserving the cutout piece.  To fill out the simple scene, I added a pair of clouds die cut from shimmery white cardstock at the top left of the panel and a die cut green stitched hill at the bottom.  The set's "the sky's the limit" sentiment was stamped on the left side of the green panel.  I curved the text on my clear block so that the text would follow the shape of the curve.  I positioned the reserved dotted piece on an aqua card base so that when I adhered the scene on top, the dots would show through.  The slider element was put in place, then the panel was adhered to the cardfront using foam tap to allow for easy movement back and forth along the channel.

Materials Used:
Plane and Simple stamp set, Plane and Simple dies (Lawn Fawn); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); markers (Copic); Aqua Mist and Green Parakeet cardstock, Aqua Mist patterned paper (Papertrey Ink); Crystal Stardream cardstock (The Paper Cut); Surf and Turf dies, slider disc (My Favorite Things); Landscape Trio dies (Mama Elephant); foam tape
