Color Throwdown 559-You're the Pick of the Patch

It's time for another Color Throwdown!  Vickie is our hostess this week with a fall-feeling color palette-navy, mustard/gold, coral/peach, and cream.

You're the Pick of the Patch card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from SugarPea DesignsI paired the colors with the current challenge at Sunday Stamps and a cute stamp set from SugarPea Designs.  I colored up the overall-clad girl from the Bountiful Blessings set with Copic markers to match the challenge colors, then used my Scan 'n Cut machine to cut out the colored image.  I used foam tape to adhere the image to a cream circle.  The circle was adhered to a mustard card base with a dotted navy patterned paper strip along the right edge.  I used a narrow navy cardstock strip for a clean transition between the solid and patterned pieces.  The set's "you're the pick of the patch" sentiment was stamped on a narrow coral cardstock strip and adhered over the image using foam tape

To play along, just create a paper crafted project using these colors as a starting point and add a direct link to your finished project using the linky tool found at the end of this week's CTD post.  As always, if you don’t have exact color matches, something close works just fine.  Just be sure that the challenge colors are the dominant ones in your project.  And, if you upload your project to an online gallery, use the keyword CTD559  If you upload your projects on social media, go ahead and use the hashtag #ctd559 and #colorthrowdown.  You can find us on Instagram and on Facebook with the username colorthrowdown.  Before you get started, here’s some inspiration from the talented Color Throwdown team and this week's Guest Star Stamper, Jen Wills.
