Keeping Christmas-September 2019

It's time for the September installment of Keeping Christmas with The Challenge design team!  For this month I used a large snowflake stamp and die along with the current Mojo Monday sketch for my wintery design.

My large snowflake is from Concord & 9th's Snow Flurry stamp set.  I die cut the snowflake from white vellum and stamped the image in silver ink on the die cut flake, then heat embossed the stamped image for extra sparkle.  I used the snowflake to represent the larger circle in the layout, positioning it on the right side of a blue card base with a snowflake patterned panel on the left side. Once it was in place on the cardfront, I dotted the center of the flake with a large clear crystal for a bit of extra sparkle.

 The "snowflake kisses and holiday wishes" sentiment from C&9th's Snowflakes Turnabout stamp set was stamped in teal ink on a light blue circle.  I matted the sentiment on a pale gray panel and adhered it to the cardfront over a sparkly silver strip and the bottom portion of the large snowflake.
